Hi everyone! So, my first project back is one to highlight how you can put that scrap pile to good use. If you’re anything like me, throwing away even half an inch of paper gives you the shakes. I have dozens and dozens of folders of scrap papers, all waiting for their moment to shine. This card actually is made of up 99% scraps if you can believe it! That includes the dots, words, ribbon and even dimensional adhesives. Keep on reading to see just how I made this magic happen!

The Sweet Stampede does a card swap every month, and anyone on the team is welcome to participate. August’s theme was “Coloring” and I probably stretched that definition to the max but hey, it worked! It didn’t dawn on me until I had it finished, but this card absolutely channels all the feelings about Fall with the colors and textures. I blame my high school reunion for this since our colors were brown and yellow….. HIDEOUS until you realize they’re perfect sunflower colors – which happens to be one of my absolute favorite flowers. But mix that, with the fact that I was FINALLY wearing a HOODIE this weekend (only for an hour but it counts!) and I’m so ready for Fall and cooler weather.
