The new Mini Catalog (formerly known as Holiday mini catalog) is launching tomorrow (Tuesday August 3rd) and with SO MANY new patterned papers and ribbons! So, I decided to offer my FIRST Product Share!
What is a Product Share? It’s a great way to get a little bit of all the new paper. I cut the (12″X12″) paper to either 6″ X 6″ or 6″ X 12″ pieces (you choose) and you get one of each pattern. It’s a great way to figure out which ones you like the most and want to invest in.
It’s day three of our Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Blog Hop and we are going so strong! Today I am sharing a card featuring one of my favorite stamps from one of our sponsors – Unity Stamp Company. Unity was actually one of the first stamp companies I had EVER heard of and fell in love immediately with their images. Especially since they really spoke to my love for copic coloring.
Welcome to my first hop with the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers Team! It’s “Christmas In July”, and we have some super cute card ideas for you. Perfect timing too since this weather is making me DREAM of cooler, snowy days!
Summer is in full effect and I think one of my FAVORITE things about it is… strawberry season! Strawberry has always been my favorite flavor for just about EVERYTHING. In the spirit of it, I’ve designed a class featuring the super cute Sweet Strawberry stamp and punch bundle. Registration for this class is now OPEN! This class features the super cute Sweet Strawberry stamp set and Strawberry Punch Bundle in 8 beautiful cards. That’s right – EIGHT CARDS!! This class will give you everything to make TWO EACH of the designs I’ve come up with. This class has FOUR options for purchase, so keep reading below for more details!
Did those two words send a shiver up your spine and make you immediately GROAN because of how much WORK they are and how you are always behind? Because I am. I swore I would do better. But on New Year’s Eve guess what I found? I found my STASH of half-prepped Christmas cards still in the box I keep my “work in progress” stuff in and went AW CRAP. They never got sent out. So I made a resolution right there. I started making things EARLY. Not like all 50 at once because that’s what always gets me in trouble. First, I tackled that stack of half-made cards. Then I moved on to do one-off cards. Why “one of a kind”? Why not send EVERYONE on my list the same card? Well… have YOU ever looked at your Christmas stamp collection and came to the decision of JUST one stamp set to cover the whole season?! I sure haven’t. Why not take advantage of those stamp sets and give everyone a different little “taste” of your style while you have fun creating?
Enter… the “Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers” club/Facebook Group/blog group/say the word and you’re in group. This wonderful community was created by Crystal Minkler with the idea of slowly building your stash of holiday cards throughout the entire span of the year so that you’re NOT overwhelmed or embarrassed come December 25th (or December 31st). I LOVE this idea. It has helped me so much. In fact, I love it so much that I applied to become a Design Team member this past month and guess what? I got in! Super fun! So now, I will be coming to you at LEAST once a month with a new Christmas card design. These cards will all be based off a sketch that is posted in the group for inspiration. I may also just throw one out there of my own brainpower when the coffee is extra good that day.
